By using this Website, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

Depending on the form or tool you use on this Website, we may collect the following information directly from you:

  • Name — to identify you and personalize our response or the output you receive
  • Email address — to respond to your inquiry or share results, if requested
  • Age / Date of Birth — to calculate age-appropriate financial projections, investment horizon, and risk capacity for certain illustrative tools
  • Gender — to provide general demographic context for illustrative financial planning insights
  • Address — collected only if you voluntarily provide it, for correspondence purposes
  • Message/inquiry details — to understand and respond to your query

We collect only the fields relevant to the specific tool or form being used, and we do not collect more information than is reasonably necessary for that purpose.

1.2 Information Collected via FinBot (AI Chat Assistant)

This Website features FinBot, an AI-based live chat assistant that responds to finance-related educational queries. FinBot is built on Tidio, a third-party live chat and AI chatbot platform. When you use FinBot, we collect and store:

  • The messages/queries you type into the chat
  • FinBot’s generated responses
  • Basic session metadata (e.g., timestamp, IP address, approximate session duration)

Third-party processing via Tidio: Your chat messages are transmitted to and stored within Tidio’s systems to generate a response and to allow us to review conversations. Tidio processes this data in accordance with its own Privacy Policy (available at tidio.com/privacy-policy) and, where applicable, GDPR and other data protection frameworks it complies with. Tidio may route messages through third-party AI providers solely to deliver the chat response; per Tidio’s terms, such providers are contractually restricted from using this data to train their own general-purpose AI models.

We do not ask you to share, and you should avoid entering, sensitive personal information (such as PAN, Aadhaar, bank account or card details, passwords, or investment account credentials) into the FinBot chat window. FinBot is not designed to request or require such information to function.

Chat logs are retained as described in Section 5 (Data Retention) and may be reviewed internally to improve FinBot’s accuracy, relevance, and compliance with our educational-content-only policy.

1.2 Information Collected Through Calculators and Tools

Our calculators (SIP, Lumpsum, SWP, Goal, Loan, Loan Prepayment, Expense, and EMI to Yourself Calculators) process the numeric inputs you enter (such as amount, tenure, or assumed rate of return) locally in your browser session to generate illustrative results. We do not require you to submit personally identifiable financial information to use these tools, and calculator inputs are not, by default, stored or linked to your identity unless otherwise stated for a specific tool.
